5 years ago I retired from paid work and sadly lost my mum shortly after. The two events together left me with some cash which I wanted to invest for my own benefit but also to help new businesses. I approached CHN having worked with Sophie previously and they spent the time really to understand my needs and philosophy. Out of those early meetings a really interesting portfolio was developed including a number of EIS investments giving me both tax advantages but also helping to support Start Up companies, engaging me in their development at all stages. I have also received and taken advice on my pension which included full negotiations with various pension providers, former employers and the advising Actuary and this now complements my standard share portfolio (which itself has traded above the industry average in the time concerned). It helps me immensely that CHN liaise directly with my accountant including me as required. As a professional advice and support team I could not wish for more.
