Supporting our people during the cost of living crisis

We recently announced a Cost of Living Support Package to run throughout 2023 for all of our employed support staff, which is in response to the well-publicised pressures on day-to-day finances due to rising inflation and soaring energy bills.

This support package will be paid monthly from January 2023 onwards for the next 12 months and equates to a 5% pay increase on current salaries. We can confirm that this is in addition to the performance-related pay review and discretionary bonus which already occurs on an annual basis.

Lee Clayton, Managing Partner commented on the launch of the support package saying ‘Our people are at the heart of what we do, without their passion and dedication we wouldn’t be where we are today. Doing the right thing is integral to our ethos here at CHN and in recognition of the challenging external factors affecting the current cost of living, we have agreed to give our employed support staff a pay increase over the next year which we hope will alleviate some of the financial pressures being faced by our people.’

The Cost of Living Support Package is not our only recent effort to maintain a happy and healthy workforce. Over the last 12 months we have introduced a range of wellbeing initiatives, such as a Mental Health First Aider and an online Wellbeing Resource Centre, alongside our agile working policy and increased benefits package.

We understand how challenging the last few years have been and have made supporting our team a key focus at the firm.
